I am a middle-aged, cradle-Catholic with a degree in Theology, a Masters in Religious Education, and 27 years of theology teaching experience — mainly High School some College. Currently I work in Administration and Publications in a Jewish Synagogue.
I am also a wife and mother, and a published writer.

I am a survivor of childhood sexual abuse by multiple abusers including a Catholic priest.
I am the mother of a suicide victim.
And in 2005 I managed to make it through Hurricane Katrina.
I love my family; I love to write. I am not sure about the Church any more, and God and I are not currently speaking — but I haven’t given up.
Mona,
You are an inspiration to an ole work horse like me! Keep your strong voice and actions going. Bob
Dear Mona,
so sorry to hear about your troubles. So many people have been searching for you, Candy included. I am now an episcopal priest, married to Maryann, with a son (15), Sam, a daughter, paula and four grandchildren. paula is maryann’s.
Fond memories of Heythrop still. It has been a long road from there to here. tell me you still play the guitar and write songs. Still in contact with Bob and Marion and a few of your old friends. “O to be in England, now that April’s here…”
Best to Malcolm, Bill McGinty.
